Very good breakfast and courteous staff. Never feel rushed to finish. One of the very few places that I've paid my bill, finished my coffee then asked if I would like another cup. Both times I have gone I've had similar experiences, so for me that is the culture of the place, not one of those hit or miss with who's helping you. Will definitely be going back.

My boss and I eat here often and the staff is always so kind and hospitable. It’s kind of like Cheers—after a while everybody knows your name. Lots of locals eat here, including some from the Shelter Island fishing and boating community. It’s a casual, comfortable environment and Mario knows how to make even lowly vegetables taste terrific! I’d eat vegetables every day if he cooked them. Try their meatloaf, tuna melt, red snapper, fish and chips or chicken parmesan!

Perfect for breakfast! More than adequate choices and great service. The "Point break-fast" is a really good choice and no hassles if you want to customize it.

Small locally owned cafe. Was in San Diego for a visit, saw it while out on a walk and decided to eat there. Had breakfast, it was very tasty and portions and price were very nice. Staff was friendly and attentive. Older building with a neat nautical theme. Would eat here again!
